Happy Independence Day! We celebrate every day here, and holidays are even more fun! Every occasion gives us a great time to decorate, make holiday art and throw a party.  We paint, shape, create and enjoy each activity together. Friendships grow and each day brings new fun to look forward to. 11:00 am and 1:00 are our Art and Craft hours and wonderful volunteers lend a hand.

The Guest House employs an energetic and devoted Activity Staff.  Our days are filled with comforting routines along with surprises and creative projects. Our Activities Department coordinates Occupational Therapy which is brought to us by Brenau University OT Students and Faculty.  Music Therapy is provided by two talented Certified Music Therapists.  Pets Therapists – Dogs who are trained to work with Alzheimer’s and other...

GIVE WITH LIBERTY is an annual event for Liberty Mutual employees.  The Guest House, Inc. has been very fortunate for many years to have Liberty Mutual volunteers help with heavy projects. They are cheerful, hard working and organized.  We thank Liberty Mutual for their service to us and to our community.

  Citizens of Georgia Power Company, a Volunteer Arm of GA Power, have helped us since 2012 with everything from fundraising to adding insulation on Oak Street.  Their group is organized, energized and efficient!  These are the engineers who answer Storm Calls all over the region and they still find time to help at The Guest House when ever we need them. We were so thankful for the help of over 35 individuals and businesses who came out for a weekend to get us moved. Here, three of our long-time volunteers celebrate the new building with hugs and friendship.

Renovating an office building was a challenge but we turned it into Home with the help of The Payne Family and many others who worked to create a Safe, Welcoming Space that offers Comfort, Great Food,  Engaging Activities and Medical Care to very special folks, every week day from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
